Recently developed activity directly in the HealthTech sector is being developed within IISE led by Prof Paul Stewart such as iTREND (Intelligent Technologies for Renal Dialysis) and Endowed Chair in Intelligent Systems programmes. We are also conducting feasibility studies for Royal Derby Hospital for example in the area of diabetics glucose prediction This activity is supported by dedicated laboratories and advanced High Performance Computing facilities. Collaboration is already taking place to develop medical image processing activity based around The College of Health and Social Care’s FujiFilm imaging suite.
My current activity in the general area of #healthtech is laid out in the following infographic, and I’m looking to form consortia to bid for EU H2020 and RCUK collaborative grant funding.
